Welcome to my ongoing journey into narcissism!

I asked my friends and family to come up with honest words to describe me:

socialist | brat | impatient | wicked | funny | aquarius | honest | thoughtful | thoughtless | agoraphobic | intelligent | conceited | a dog man | slob | consumer | haunted | deliberate | moody | teetering on enlightenment | driver | independent | addicted | childish | symmetrical | stubborn | playful | bhuddist | home body | inventive | passionate | unforgiving | resourceful | unintimidated | giggly | compulsive | open | hermit | craver of solo time | idea man

Looks like I need new friends...

General:

About to enter my decade of focus (40's) yet still feel like a kid most of the time. I play with Lego, collect comic books and love spending time in my house and yard. Love gadgets. Tend to resist anything popular - only because it's popular - but ultimately I succumb. Yeah, yeah, nobody likes to talk about themselves so I'll cop-out with a questionaire:

Nickname: Tyke
Eye Color: Hazel
Hair Color: Brown now - used to be red
Height: 6'
Heritage: French, German, Irish and Chinese
Weakness: Justice League, Clive Barker, Kim Lee's sushi in Carson City, NV
Best Physical Feature: calves and smile
Bedtime: 9-10
Do you get Motion Sickness: only when someone else is driving
Do you get along with your Parents: yes
Where would you most like to Visit: Amsterdam

TV: Family Guy, Heroes, Dexter, Judge Judy, First 48, Scare Tactics, Campus Ladies, American Dad, Justice League, Batman Beyond, Kathy Griffin, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies and X-Files.

Music: Pretty much anything but country, though as I get older...
For dance music, I've been told I like repetative and catchy; if there's breathing in it - added bonus. I hate to think I'm that shallow and predictable, but it's true. Am drawn to strong black women - Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Mutya Buena.

Movies: Horror (LOVE really bad horror movies), Sci-fi, Independent. Favorites: Event Horizon, Jeepers Creepers, Nightmare Man (Horrorfest 2007), Xanadu (don't shame me!), Addams Family Values, Serial Mom, Cloverfield, Death Becomes Her, Monster Man, Nightmare on Elm Street, Silent Hill (the nurse scene still gives me goosebumps), Penny Dreadful, Wrong Turn and Little Mermaid (what did I say about shaming me?)
